Halloween & Other Happenings

Halloween is a pretty crazy holiday. Everyone kept telling me that there would be all of this candy, but from what I can tell, all you do is dress up in silly outfits with hats that you spend the entire night pulling off. Maybe when I have more teeth I will be able to actually get the candy, too. In an effort to reduce my carbon footprint, I decided to borrow Ben's Halloween costume from last year - a duck (or a chicken depending your perspective). I gave it a whole new look though since I can walk and Ben couldn't last year since he was younger, so the striped tights get a whole new look and feel with movement.

I had a great time at Ben's Halloween party and at a little party in our neighborhood on the actual day. We also visited Kelly at a party at her house. I am quite popular to get invited to all of these parties!

After the Halloween festivities, I had my first haircut. I wasn't sure what to expect - as you can tell, I was a little apprehensive in the car.

They did put me in a pretty cool fire truck to cut my hair, so I spent most of the time steering my car instead of worrying about my hair too much.The hairdryer was a little distracting, but I am used to helping mom with her hairdryer every morning, so it didn't scare me at least! In the end, I have a cute little bob and feel like a bona fide toddler now!

Today was an exciting day for mom as she was able to get a little Pebbles ponytail in my hair today and I did not pull it out all day. So of course she had to take a few pictures of this momentous occasion.Pretty cool, huh? I also enjoyed the fall here in Charlotte - today we raked some leaves. Here I am helping mommy.
I also love to harrass everyone around me by avoiding all of my toys and insisting on only climbing on and up furniture. Here I am swinging from the chandelier in the kitchen.
And here I am trying to climb up the table in the front hallway. Really it is so much fun - no danger involved at all and clearly no opportunity to damage anything.
